FALLEN FLAG

Please wait 10-15 seconds while we load our gallery images ..........
This is one of my favorite photographs. It is our detailed vision of 9/11. Shot in ( that times ) Taren Meacham's Studio in San Diego CA. We scavenged the back ally for real debris and bricks to add in to the photo. To prepare for the photo we took ash from a barbecue sprayed Taren with a bit of water and then covered him with the ashes. We tore and dirtied his shirt and Honorably damage a flag. Turned out great and spawned other great images.
2007 Photographed and Conceived by Ryan M. Fuller Featuring Taren Meacham. Shot for our personal Portfolios. Note: Shot this on a Fuji E550 ( a $160 point and shoot ). Shows its some times not the camera that make a great photo but the content and photographer.
The " Wall Of War " is a photo that was spawned after the success of " Fallen Flag " . This is a Real photograph, lots of people ask me if it is a computer animation, its not. All the element of the photo were shot by me, from the clouds and smoke to the wall. This was shot for a Series Titled " Axiom " in the photo we used a real AK47 with rounds in the Magazine. The shot depicts a Modern day warrior looking down on it prey.
2007 Photographed and Conceived by Ryan M. Fuller and Featuring Taren Meacham as the Modern dat warrior. Shot for a Series Titled " Axiom ". Note: Shot this on 35 mm Film using the Canon Elan7.
This photo Features Masters World Champion Lars Tribus. We were trying to capture the lowest berm shot ever captured, and we succeeded. Many ask if he road out of this and the answer is yes. There were other attempts where he would dig into the ground and fall but this was the one he road away from. Shot this in Lake Forest CA. and the image has gone on to be viewed by more than 500,000 people world wide and won various awards.
2007 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller for Chumba Racing. Used for a full page ad in Decline Magazine and various items. If you would like to read some comments click on this link http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/2255528/
This image depicts a Navy Seal preparing to go off to war. The large cement slab shows that he is on a airport style deck and the sun was in the perfect position lighting his face from the front.
2006 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller in San Diego CA,featuring ex-Seal Taren Meacham. I shot this photo on 35 mm Film using the Elan7. This was for my personal Portfolio.
The firey black smoke of a Middle East Oil fire. Actually we shot this in Taren's Garage. The rest was added in for effect. In the shot he is carreying a real AR15. I had him cover his face in face paint. To help him self feel like he was in the midst of the oil fires Taren through him self down a dirt and weed covered hill so he would feel a bit more dirty and beaten.
2006 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller for a Navy Seal Full Page ad. Featuring Taren Meacham and shot on 35 mm Film using the Elan7.
This photo sub-named " Michael" was a portrait of a man living out of his van in Arizona. I was out there visiting a friend when we came across Michael. We asked him if we could shoot some photos of him and his set up and he said sure no problem. While shooting he talked with us about his situation. He lost his job in the 90s and had to move into his van. He seemed to be a complete survivalist setting up a camp fire right out side his van to cook his food. We noticed he had a flat tire and he also told us the Sheriff had just told him he was going to have to pack up and move on. Michael was a nice man that didn't get much of a break from life but at the same time refused to give up. He never asked for a hand out while we were there but before we left I gave him all the money I had on me, Then we left. Later my friend went back and gave him some home cooked food.
2008 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller in Arizona. The mans name was Michael, Never caught his last name. This was for my personal Portfolio.
The reason the photo is Titled " Hill of Bullets " is because the hill was a AZ hot spot for shooting, so all over the hill was shell casings and remnants of various rounds. At the bottom you can see a target we set up while we were doing some shooting there. My brother Brent is walking down the hill after a surveillance of the land. The sky was as grand as a sky could be that day and the temperature was a cool 68.
2008 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring Brent Neighbors. I shot this on 35 mm Film, using the Canon Elan7.
The grand Arizona Land on a picture perfect day. Not a single person around for miles. The man in the photo is Brent and with his sidearm he patrols the vast desert. I shot this while visiting him to do some shooting and captured this great shot, you could imagine him wearing old time wester cloths and the photo would show a whole different feel. He is the modern day version of a arms carrying westerner.
2008 Photograph by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring Brent Neighbors. I shot this on 35 mm Film, using the Canon Elan7.
The famed UFC Champion Tito Ortiz. This photo was shot in Tito's hay-day. He had just won the UFC Championship and was now training for the next season. Me and Tito were working on a fitness book and I shot this with others in preparation for the book. I sent the Manuscript to a dozen publishers and was told that the book would be to expensive to produce, maybe because there were to be over 1000 photographs and it featured a lot of famous athletes. In the end I was left with the photographs.
2003 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring Tito Ortiz. This photo was shot on the Fuji E550 ( $160 point and shoot camera ) I think Tito Thought I was Crazy shooting him with such a small camera, but later his agent told me he framed one of the photos and hung it in his office. Plus later we worked on a documentary.
This was another photo I shot in preparation for a Fitness book. Model and FMX rider Will Collins going big in this shot. I hung around him for a few months and captured some great shots but this one stands out for me the most. The hazy mountains in the background make it feel grand.
2004 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Shot for the book " Fit To Be Famous ". Featuring Will Collins.
I love this photo, its the photo I have as my wallpaper on my computer screens. This is another Ryan Taren collaboration. I wanted to capture the feeling of all out war. He played the roll well, face yelling, teeth showing and rounds flying. This was anther photo that sparked the idea of " Axiom ". Like the others this features a real AK47 with rounds in the mags.
2006 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring Taren Meacham. Shot on 35 mm Film using the Canon Elan7.
A sad day indeed. We all remember the day of 9/11 but unless you were there you might have a hard time imagining the feelings of the victims. Me and Taren did a Series of photos Tilted " The 9/11 Photos " to show some of the moments of that tragic day.
2006 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring Taren Meacham. Shot on the Fuji E550
After we had shot all the photos for " The 9/11 Photos " we went out side to get some fresh air away from the ash and heavy dust that filled the studio. I took the film camera and while Taren took a break I shot his face in the sun, there was a black metal wall behind him and that gave for a great background that would pop his face out in the photo. This photo also shows that creating images like this can be hard work.
2006 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring Taren Meacham. Shot on 35 mm Film, using the Canon Elan7.
Like the last photo Taren was outside for a break. In this photo you get a good look at the work we did on him for the photos, shirt torn, filthy, ash covered everything with his cigarette in hand. I added the background in for the full effect. The reason for Photos like this is to show you don't have to be at disaster to capture the feeling of the moment.
The hands can say a lot about a person and this photo is no exception. Ash covered hands after a long day of shooting. The color of his shirt and pants contrast the color of his hands. The ash brought out the lines in his hands.
2006 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring Taren Meacham's Hands. Shot on 35 mm Film using the Canon Elan7
The only photograph not shot by Ryan M. Fuller. The reason is because that is Ryan Fuller in the photograph. Occasionally a photographer put down the camera to engage in the activities of his subject and this was a one of those times. Brent Neighbors picked up the camera and randomly shot this photo. I thought it turned out great. Shows the essence of aiming a gun to hit a target.
2008 Photographed by Brent Neighbors. Featuring Ryan M. Fuller, Gun of choice HK USP 40. Shot for no reason other than to capture the moment.
A child in Peru South America, I was there to venture around the sites with my wife and her sister. While there we went to visit a family in the remote mountain of the Andes. They lived at a elevation of around 11,000 feet, not electricity and only one toilet. All the housed were made of mud and dirt. This shot of a small girl intrigued of the one shooting a photograph of her. Her young brother looks on in the background. I like this photo because of the look and stance the girl took, its like she was posing but wasn't.
2006 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring a Girl from Peru. Shot on 35 mm Film using the Canon Elan7
The Great Stephen Murray. What can I say he has always been a outstanding human-being and incase you don't know he was Paralyzed from the neck down at the XGames. I shot these before the accident in preparation for my book " Fit To Be Famous " . I was also filming a lot of footage for a documentary he was going to be in with Tito Ortiz and Brian Sumner. When I heard Stephen was Paralyzed I couldn't believe it. But he pushes on with the utmost integrity and inspiration. I look back on the work I did with Stephen in full amazement of how great he was as a pro BMX rider. The photo itself was shot in Stephen's front yard when the sun was setting. His dog right by his side.
2004 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring Stephen Murray. Shot on the Fuji E550.
This is a Panoramic Machu Picchu in Peru South America. A very intriguing place to visit. I have alway wanted to go there and I did. The photo was shot with a normal 35 mm Film Camera and I later put all the photos together. When I went on this trip I decided to only shoot on Film, so I never knew how the photos turned out till I got home and developed them. Luckily my background is in Film and Film development. The highlight for me in this photo is the old man on the right, he makes the photo.
2006 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Shot for my personal Portfolio.
This is a photo of Mono Lake out by Mammoth Ca. I left Orange County in 2000 to go live and work in Mammoth. I took a trip with a friend to check out the Lake and captured this photo. Side Note: When I lived in Mammoth I meet Taren Meacham for the first time, he eventually became my roommate. Years latter we collaborate on a lot of Photographic projects.
2000 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Shot on 35 mm Film on a camera I cant even remember.
One of my early photographs. Before I got into Photography I was primarily a videographer. Way back in 1998 I was filming a Skateboarding video titled " Breakstuff " and while filming I took out my camera and shot these kid playing with my skateboard. I reminded me of a time as a kid when you do think twice about playing in guttery water. Ruined my skateboard but it was worth the photo, plus I used to get all the free boards I needed.
1998 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Shot on my first film camera, a Canon.
This was a resent photo of Shelly Martinez. One thing I am good at is throwing together a photo shoot with minimal equipment and lack of a studio. We have a friend who had a empty room to shoot the photo in and we dragged his bed out of his room and put it in the room with the white walls, I bought some white sheets and lit her with three lights. In the end I sure it was her most amateur photo shoot but the result was anything but amateur.
2009 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring Shelly Martinez for her personal website. Who is Shelly Martinez, Just google her and you will see.
The NJC of the title of this photo stands for National Junior Champion, Which is what Kevin Aiello is. He now Rides for GT and is on his way to being the best there in in DH racing. We were out shooting some photos and this was one I shot of him checking out the stability of this drop off.
2008 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring Kevin Aiello. Shot for Chumba Racing.
One of Kevin Aiello's friends was Dakoda Dulmage. I shot this in Lake Forest out by Oakley. It was a large ravine gap with a very short landing. He got good hight on this shot and the clouds were in perfect position. I shot this shot on B&W film for the dramatic effect.
2008 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring Dakoda Dulmage. B&W Film. Shot for Chumba Racing.
UFC fighter Hector Rameriz was Training to fight UFC Champion Forest Griffin in UFC 71. I shot the photos to be use for publicity for the UFC. Me and Hector Shot a lot of cool shots and this one of him training near home was one of my favorite shots. He went on to lose that match but still fights professionally
2007 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring Hector Rameriz. Shot on 35 mm Film using the Canon Elan7. Shot for the UFC.
Another Shot of UFC fighter Hector Rameriz. Shot in a dingy room he stands there bare foot and in his hand wraps. This shot was actually not shot is that room, I shot this in his garage and put him in this room. but you would of never known. Now a days Photography is about more than taking a photo, its about what you can do to make the shoot perfect.
2007 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring UFC Fighter Hector Rameriz. Shot on 35 mm Film using the Canon Elan7. Shot for the UFC
This is a shot of World Masters Champion Lars Tribus flying down a section of now closed off trail in Palos Verdes Del Cerro Park. They have since closed the trails off the MTB riders so we were lucky to get the shots we did. It is a unique place to ride. Lars corners around a rock in this photo showcasing why he is good as he is.
2008 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring Lars Tribus. Shot on 35 mm Film using the Canon Elan7. Shot for Chumab Racing.
Crazier than it looks, but Kevin Aiello drop off a very large and step rock to then land on a section of steeper unstable trail. The reason we had him do this to to show how the suspension could go down just about anything ( with a experienced rider at the helm of course ). The clouds were amazing that day and this like the last photo was shot at Del Cerro Park in Palos Verdes.
2008 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring Kevin Aiello. Shot on 35 mm Film using the Canon Elan7. Shot for Chumba Racing.
Bubba was his nickname his real name escapes me. This was a shot for a Poster for 1 Source Products, the poster was titled " Don't be Dirty " So for the shot we made him look a sloppy as we could. I added the carpet in for a better feel. The lighting use was one construction light the light gave the feeling that he was on the couch watching tv. .
2007 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring Bubba. Shot using the Fuji E550. Shot for 1 Source Products
No Snowboarding, That didn't stop me and Taren Meacham from building a kicker to hit that rail. Me and Taren would go all over Mammoth at night with some lights to find things to shoot, this shot is in freezing and snowing weather around midnight in Mammoth MT Ca way back in 2000.
2000 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring Taren Meacham. Shot on 35 mm Film. For my personal Portfolio
This is a shot of WEC MMA fighter Rob McCullough. I was able to set this shot up with him for no other reason other than wanting to shoot him. I showed him some of my work with Tito Ortiz and he was all for it. This is one of my favorite shots of him in the decrepit room.
2007 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring Rob McCullough. Shot for my personal Portfolio.
Another shot of MMA fighter Rob McCullough. This was shot at the gym he trains at. A great shot of him in full impact with the bag. I added in the cracked concrete ground for effect.
2007 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring Rob McCullough. Shot for my own personal portfolio.
Sniper. Training for a covert mission. With his riffle in hand in a dark hallway with a window that he uses to view his target right behind him. The light from the hallway was just enough to light him up while keeping his identity in the dark.
2005 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring Sniper. Shot for the Navy at a training facility.
Like the last photo this is a shot of two Seals training. One carrying a tactical Shotgun and the other with a AR15 and close range scope. Shot this using a high IOS so I could capture them despite everything else being in direct sunlight. I like this shot because it shows how they keep in the shadows while moving towards their target.
2005 Photograph by Ryan M. Fuller. Features two Seals. Shot for the Navy on a 35 mm Film Canon Camera with high IOS film.
This is a shot of Tommy Chong From Cheech & Chong. I shot this at his home in LA. It shows great detail in the lines in his face. One of my good friends is good friends with the Chong family so I have done all sorts of stuff for them.
2007 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring Tommy Chong. Shot for a historic record of Tommy.
This is a classic style portrait of Tommy Chong from the famed Cheech & Chong. Sitting in a great position in his home filled with great pieces of furniture.
2007 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring Tommy Chong.
A violent depiction of a true warrior engaged with his enemy. I shot this for the Series of photos tilted " Axiom " Though crude and violent it captures the most extreme measure when fighting a war, the killing of an enemy using a knife and your bare hands.
2006 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring Taren Meacham and friend. Photographed for " Axiom ".
This is another photo of my early work. A grand hiking expedition in the snow filled mountain. The mountain looks like its covered in tracks but it actually small snow balls that fall due to the steepness of the mountain. We were the only ones up there and the fog subsided just enough for me to snap this photo.
Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring Robin Nguyen. Shot using a Leica Film PAS.
Shot for the Series of Photographs Titled " Axiom " This photo depicts a warrior at rest in a room in the middle east. The lighting of this photo is done with candles and a long exposure. The photo also features a real AK47. The toughest thing about this photo was for Taren to stay still for a 9 second open shutter. He held still great.
2006 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring Taren Meacham. Shot using the Fuji E550 For the Series of Photographs titled " Axiom ".
Shot on the battle field of a secrete training facility. Taking cover behind a beat up car. The soldier is holding the AR15. This is another photo I shot to depict the confusing state of war. The background help with this message.
2006 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring Taren Meacham. Shot for the ( Wouldn't you like to know ).
A great shot, modeled after the old Coppertone ad with the dog pulling on the little girl bathing suit. We flipped it around to have Taren pulling it with his teeth.
2007 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring Candy Lee and Taren Meacham. Shot for a Mag.
Utilizing the shot I captured of Lars Tribus and added by some other shots I took I made this memorable ad for Chumba Racing to be printed in Decline Mag. The shot shows off the F5 DH bike.
2008 Photographed by Ryan M. Fuller. Featuring Lars Tribus and Chumba's F5 HD Bike. Made for Decline Magazine.
I don't do a lot of T-Shirts but when I do there well received. These two shirts were made for Chumba, a mountain bike company. So the first shirt is a full print Topographical map, the second is a rider cutting through a berm.

Smelly Proof Brand Storage Bags is a company like Ziplock. The difference is that Smelly Proof Brand keeps all odors in the bag. The utilize technology used in medical biohazard bags. I designed the concept and actual box layout. I think it turned out great.
2006 Designed by Ryan M. Fuller for Smelly Proof Brand Storage Bags. For mass Production.
If he can't smell it, we can't smell it. This ad is cleverly referring to the idea of that being a drug sniffing dog. I use a bit of a controversial tactic to make the point of these bags.
